Sysnovation President and Principal Consutant Dave Walden once again had the privilege of being the Editor-in-Chief of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook. After more than five years of effort, the Fifth Edition of the handbook was released in July 2023. It has been restructured and updated to reflect the state-of-the-good-practice in systems engineering. Sysnovation training materials reflect this latest edition, along with other systems engineering resources. Ongoing - Purdue Online - SYS 52000: Systems Engineering Processes and Professional Competencies
In partnership with Purdue University, Sysnovation President and Principal Consutant Dave Walden teaches an on-line systems engineering course, typically offered each Spring (January-March) and Summer (June-August). This is an eight-week intensive asynchronous on-line course that elaborates on the concepts in the INCOSE SE Handbook and the INCOSE SE Competencies Framework. Students that achieve a grade of 85% or better earn INCOSE Certification Academic Equivalency, satisfying the knowledge requirement (i.e., they do not need to take the INCOSE CSEP/ASEP exam).
